- This is not the steam version of the game, I am running this DRM Free from a GOG installation of the base game on my SD card and then added to gamehub using the "import PC games". Watch the [In-Depth Installation Video](youtu.be/-MrQdGKDuUY?si=rRhKsCJoBpGQ1hxP) on Youtube for more details. Note: There are some extra steps if you want to get a better frame rate: 1. Delete or rename this file: "APEX_ClothingGPU_x64.dll", it is located in: Game Directory>bin>x64. 2. Download the two files from [this google drive link](https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1oWHi_61mP6UddJGKiQxZe6RnKoCF7sRn). They will be called "user.settings" and "rendering.ini" copy and paste these into the correct locations to get a lower detail gameplay. 3. To find the correct location for "user.settings" go to your Gamehub per-game settings and then go to General>Enter Container Desktop, then you can click Documents>The Witcher 3. You can also access this same place by going to My Computer>(C:)>users>steamuser>documents>The Witcher 3. 4. Once you are there, replace the user.settings with the one you can copy and paste from your downloads folder, My Computer>(D:). Then the "rendering.ini" file needs to be replaced by copy and pasting the one in your downloads folder to this location: Game Directory>bin>config>base. 5. Set the Translation Params to "Extreme" in the gamehub per-game settings. - Troubleshooting: Always lower all the in-game settings under "graphics" and "postprocessing" if they aren't already, and turn off vysnc. If you follow these instructions closley, your FPS will stay at 27-30 for the entirety of the game and will only drop as low as 20 when rendering new areas. If you arent getting these results, you may be running the Complete Edition which is the 2022 release and not possible to get 30FPS since it is essentially a PS5 and XBOX Series X generation game. DO NOT use the Complete Edition, use the GOTY Edition which is just the base game bundled with the DLC's. The base game was released in 2015 and is a PS4 generation game which is why we can run it with low detail settings (those two files I gave you) and low resolution (960x544).
